Today I met a man named Muhammad A___, who is a lawyer. As we began talking, I asked him about his profession. I asked, “As a lawyer, you often appear before judges. In your experience, which side usually wins a case?” He replied, “The person with the stronger evidence wins the case, while the one with weak evidence loses.” I then said, “Sir, may I ask you a question? One day we will all die and stand before the Judge in heaven. What preparation are you making for that courtroom? The heavenly Judge sees everything. If someone has strong evidence, they will be acquitted, but if they have no sufficient evidence, they will be found guilty.” I asked him what he thought about good works and righteous deeds. He replied that good works alone are not enough. I explained that our own good deeds cannot justify us before God’s judgment. Then I shared that there is one perfect and sufficient evidence on our behalf—the sacrifice that was made for our sins. I shared the Good News with him: that Jesus Christ came into the world, gave His life for our sins, died on the cross, was buried, and on the third day rose from the dead. Afterward, He ascended into heaven.
He was very surprised and listened with great interest. I encouraged him to study the Gospel carefully and prayed that God would open his eyes to understand the truth. Please pray for Muhammad A___, that the Lord will continue to work in his heart and lead him to faith in Christ. Also, please pray that God will provide the resources we need to give away Gospels and other Christian literature so that more people can hear the Good News. Thank you very much. God bless you!
