Today we met a woman named Ra_ and a man named Muhammad Qa_. They were sitting together and from a distance they looked very worried. I went and sat with them, and we started talking. My wife also joined us.
As we continued the conversation, I told them that perhaps it was God’s will for us to meet today, because we all believe that not even a leaf falls from a tree without God’s permission. Then I asked them if I could share some Good News with them, and they gladly agreed.
I shared with them how Jesus Christ came into this world around 2,000 years ago, gave His life for the sins of all mankind, died on the cross, was buried, and rose again from the dead on the third day. I asked them if they considered themselves free from sin, and they replied that no one in this world is completely pure from sin.
Then I spoke to them about the way to Heaven and explained that Jesus Christ alone is the living way. I gave them an example: if we want directions to a place, we ask a living person, not a grave. Then they themselves said that Jesus Christ is alive in Heaven. After that, I explained that if we want salvation and eternal life, we must put our faith only in Jesus Christ, the one sacrifice God gave for all humanity. Then they prayed with me, confessing that they are sinners and asking God for forgiveness. Praise the Lord! They said they were returning to their city, and I invited them that whenever they come to Lahore, they are welcome to visit us.
Brother, please especially pray for both of them, that God may truly transform their lives and connect them deeply with His truth. Also, please pray for us, that God may provide Bibles for our ministry. Today I did not have a Bible to give them. Please pray that the Lord helps us to purchase Bibles so we can continue sharing His Word with new believers.
